Description

For persons who had a head injury with loss of consciousness in the past 12 months, who received medical care for the most recent injury of this type, and who stayed in a hospital overnight or longer because of this injury, HINJYHOSPNR reports the number of nights the person stayed in the hospital because of this head injury. HINJYHOSPNR is a recoded variable that breaks the original variable HINJYHOSPNS into intervals of 1 night, 2-3 nights, 4-7 nights, 1-2 weeks, 2-4 weeks, or over 4 weeks.
