Description

For female sample adults aged 18 and older and who have ever taken estrogen, ESTRONOW reports if the person is now taking medication that contains estrogen.

Comparability

There are no comparability issues.

Universe

  • 1999: Female sample adults who have ever taken estrogen AND who were age 18-39, not currently pregnant or unknown if pregnant, and had a menstrual period in the past 3 months that was less regular or lighter compared with 12 months ago OR who were age 40-49 and not pregnant or unknown if pregnant OR who were age 50+.
