Description
For sample adults age 18 and older who currently have a hearing aid, but have not used it in the past 12 months, or who have ever used a hearing aid, but do not currently use one, or who have had a hearing aid recommended, HRANOTHER indicates if the reason the sample person decided not to use a hearing aid is because of reasons that were not listed in the survey. Reasons \mentioned in the survey include: it didn't help, she/he didn't like the way it sounded, whistling sounds, it was uncomfortable, it had frequent breakdowns/needed repairs, she/he didn't like the way it looked, it cost too much, and she/he didn't think she/he needed a hearing aid.
