Description

For persons age 2 and older who reported visiting a dentist in the past 1-2 years, DENREASN reports the reason for the last visit.

Comparability

The universe changed slightly over time. In 1986, this question was asked of all persons ages 2 and older who had seen a dentist within the last 2 years. In 1999, this question was asked of sample adults and sample children who had seen or talked with a dentist in the past 12 months.
