Description
Respondents who reported feeling worried, nervous, or anxious at least monthly (WORFREQ) or who took medication for those feelings (WORRX) reported whether they agreed with the statement: "I have been told by a medical professional that I have anxiety."
This item was collected for sample adults who completed the Quality of Life supplement (administered to approximately a quarter of sample adults).
Universe
- 2010: One quarter of sample adults, included in quality of life supplement (and excluded from family disability supplement), who feel worried, anxious, or nervous daily, weekly, or monthly (or for whom it was unknown how often they feel worried, anxious, or nervous) or who take medication for these feelings (or whom it was unknown if they take medication for these feelings).
