Respondents who acknowledged having difficulty communicating (LACOMDIFEGO) or being understood by others (LACOMDIFOTHS) reported whether the reason for the problem was because they need to understand other languages or different ways of speaking.
This item was collected for sample adults who completed the Quality of Life supplement (administered to approximately a quarter of sample adults).
