Description
For sample adults over age 18 who have ever smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their life and are current some days smokers or those who ever smoked every day for at least 6 months, CSSMOKDALYY indicates the total number of years the respondent smoked every day, excluding time they stopped smoking for at least 6 months or longer. (A "some days" smoker was someone who reported "some days" to the question, "Do you now smoke cigarettes every day or some days?").
