Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked last year at a civilian job, who had back pain every day for at least 1 week last year, and who was not bothered by back pain on the day of the interview, BPLASTN reports the time (in number of days, weeks or months) since the person's most recent back pain.
Users should combine BPLASTN with BPLASTP, which reports the time period for the number in BPLASTN, to get complete information on when the person's most recent back pain occurred.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
