Description

For sample persons ages 18 and over who have ever had a blood test for the AIDS virus infection and got the results of the blood test and shared those results with anyone, ATRTOLDREL reports if the person told some other relative about the results.

Comparability

There are no comparability issues with this variable.

Universe

  • 1993: Half of sample persons age 18+ in quarters 3 and 4 (excluded from Y2K supplement) who have ever had blood tested for the AIDS virus infection, who got the results of blood test, and who told anyone the results of last test.
