Description
YEAR is a four-digit variable reporting the calendar year (e.g., 2003) the survey was conducted and the data were collected. YEAR indicates the survey year reported on the household record.
Comparability
This variable is completely comparable before 2019.

Universe
- 1963-2018: All households.
- 2019-2022: Sample adults age 18+ and sample children age 0-17.
