For sample persons aged 18 and older who have ever worked and who reported having at least five health conditions in the past 12 months, WRKCOMPCND5 reports if a worker's compensation claim was ever filed for his/her fifth health condition. No claim resolution information is available for this condition because data were obtained on only four claims per respondent.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
