Description

For only sample adults in 2015, sample children ages 6-17 and sample adults in 2020, and only sample children ages 6-17 in 2022, WLKSDWLK reports if most streets have sidewalks where they live. Beginning in 2020, the sample child's question more specifically asks if there are roads, sidewalks, paths or trails where they live where they can walk or ride a bicycle.

WLKSDWLK is part of a series of variables about a person's perceptions of their walking environment. Please see WLKHOME for the full list of variables.
