Description

For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked at a civilian job last year, who had at least four on-the-job injuries last year resulting in medical attention beyond minor first aid, OR inability to do some work activities, OR loss of consciousness, OR transfer to another job, and who did not change their employer or change the kind of work performed for the same employer because of the fourth injury, WI4CHANGEPER reports if the person made a permanent change in his or her work activities because of this injury.

This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
