Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked at a civilian job last year and who had at least one on-the-job injury last year resulting in medical attention beyond minor first aid, OR inability to do some work activities, OR loss of consciousness, OR transfer to another job, WI1YR reports the year when the first injury happened.
Users should combine WI1YR with WI1DA and WI1MO, which reports the day and month when the first injury happened, to get complete information on the date of the first injury.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
