Description
For sample persons age 18 and older who had a job in the past two weeks, and who are exposed to harmful substances at their current job and know how substances affect their health, WEXSUBLWC reports whether she/he learned about how these substances could affect her/his own health from a health clinic at work.
This variable was introduced in 1987 as part of a series of variables with information on occupational safety and health. For related variables, please use the IPUMS NHIS search function and drop-down menus.
