Codes and Frequencies
For sample persons ages 18 and older who were employed in the last two weeks, and who reported to be exposed to at least three harmful substances that could endanger her/his own health, WEXSUB3HEL2 reports the second type of health effect for the third reported substance. Persons could report up to six such substances, and for each substance, they could report up to four ways their own health could be endangered as a result of it.

- 1985: Sample persons age 18+ who were employed in the past 2 weeks, who are exposed to any dangerous substances, who mentioned three dangerous work substances or for whom these substances were unknown, and who mentioned one way the substance affects health or for whom the health effect was unknown.
