Description

For sample persons age 18 and older who had a job in the past two weeks and who reported working with harmful substances and/or being exposed to radiation at their current job, WEXINFOTH reports whether she/he mentioned receiving information about the existence of harmful substances and/or radiation in the work place from sources other than the following: employer, union, co-workers, previous training/education, and by reading about it.

Comparability

This variable has no comparability issues.

Universe

  • 1992: Half of sample persons age 18+ in quarters 1 and 2 and 2 weeks of quarter 3 (excluded from CACT supplement) who had a job in the past 2 weeks and at their current job work with harmful substances or are exposed to radiation.
