For sample persons aged 18 and older who were employed in the past 1-2 week(s), who worked for a private company or for the federal, state, or local government, who worked at a location or facility that had more than 50 employees, and whose employer made exercise programs available, WEPOTHERUS reports if the person used other exercise programs offered by his/her employer at work, besides those listed in the interview card.

Please refer to the universe tab for more detailed information on the universe of this variable.
Comparability
A slight change in universe between 1994 and 1998 samples may affect comparability between samples.
Changes in survey design (e.g., quarters in which the supplement was collected) may affect raw frequencies, but do not affect comparability of the variable. As always, data users should use the prescribed IPUMS NHIS weights.
