Description

For sample persons age 18 and over, WATEMPKNOW reports whether the person knew the temperature of the hot water in their home. Follow-up questions include whether the approximate temperature was high, medium or low, or the approximate temperature in degrees.

WATEMPKNOW was part of the Health Prevention and Disease Promotion supplement periodically included in the NHIS which helped measure national goals towards the Healthy People Initiative of the U.S. Surgeon General.
