Description
For sample adults ages 18 and older who received treatment/rehabilitative services for a language problem in the past 12 months, VSLLGPROF reports whether some other health professional not included among those listed provided the treatment. Health professionals included in the survey's response categories include speech-language pathologist, family physician/general practitioner/osteopath, rehabilitation specialist, otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat doctor), audiologist/hearing specialist/hearing aid technician, specialty doctor, nutritionist or dietician, psychiatrist or psychologist, nurse or nurse practitioner, and dentist/orthodontist/oral surgeon.
