Description

For sample adults who have been bothered by ringing, roaring, or buzzing in their ears or head in the past 12 months (TINYR), TINOFTEN reports how often the person had this problem during the previous 12 months.

 

Interviewers asked, "In the past 12 months, how often have you had this ringing, roaring, or buzzing in your ears or head? Would you say..." The survey form then directed interviewers to read the following categories:

  • Almost always
  • At least once a day
  • At least once a week
  • At least once a month
  • Less frequently than once a month
  • Refused
  • Don't know
