Description

For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked last year at a civilian job and the job required working with vibrating machines, TIMEVIBMATP reports the length of time (in time period) that the person spends working with the vibrating machine(s) during a typical work day.

Users should combine TIMEVIBMATP with TIMEVIBMATN, which reports the number for the time period in TIMEVIBMATP, to get complete information on the amount of time that the person spends working with the vibrating machine(s) at his/her job.

This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
