For sample persons aged 18 and older who have ever worked but are not currently working, TIMESINLWTP reports the length of time (in time period) since the person last worked at a civilian job. This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
Users should combine TIMESINLWTP with TIMESINLWNO, which reports number for the time period in TIMESINLWTP, to get complete information on the amount of time since the person last worked at a civilian job.
