Description

For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked last year at a civilian job that required bending or twisting their hands/wrists, TIMEBTHANDTP reports the length of time (in time period) that the person spends bending or twisting his/her hands or wrists during a typical work day.

Users should combine TIMEBTHANDTP with TIMEBTHANDTN, which reports the number for the time period in TIMEBTHANDTP, to get complete information on the amount of time that the person spends bending or twisting his/her hands or wrists at work.

This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
