Description
For sample adults aged 18 and over and sample children aged 4-17 who reported using at least three top complementary or alternative medicine (CAM) therapies and use the third CAM therapy to specific health conditions, SURG3 reports if the person received surgery for the most important health condition treated by the third top CAM therapy. SURG3 can be paired with CAMTHER3, which reports the corresponding CAM therapy that to treat the most important health condition.
