Description
For families with at least one child under age 5, SSEATNOW reports whether the respondent had a child car safety seat.
SSEATNOW was first asked in the 1985 Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Supplement, which included Injury Control and Child Safety and Health. For related variables and more information about this supplement, please use the IPUMS NHIS search function and drop-down menus.
Universe
- 1985: Familes with at least one child under age 5.
