Description

For children under age 5, SSEATFREQ reports how often the child was buckled in a child safety seat or, for 1991, by a seatbelt.

Comparability

In 1985 and 1990, the survey question specifically asked whether the child was buckled in a car safety seat, whereas in 1991 asks about child safety seat use or seatbelt use.
