Description

For sample adults age 55 and older who did not use a proxy respondent, SOCLEVELOK reports whether the respondent felt that their level of social activities were about enough, too much, or if the respondent would like to be doing more.

SOCLEVELOK was first introduced in 1984 as part of a series of questions related to the psychological aspects of aging. For more information please use the search function and IPUMS NHIS drop-down menus.
