Description

For sample adults, SMOKWKEXPYR reports whether the respondent was exposed to tobacco smoke from other people at work during the past 12 months. In 2023 forward, this question asked if the individual was exposed to tobacco smoke for 4 or more hours per week. In 2010, this question was asked of sample adults who are now or were employed at some point in the past 12 months and defined tobacco exposure as twice a week or more.
