Description

For sample persons ages 18 and over, who work indoors and where smoking is either not allowed or is only allowed in designated smoking areas, SMOKPOLWKWHY reports whether the smoking restrictions are for health reasons and personal comfort, for some other reason, or both.   • 1987: Half of sample persons age 18+ (excluded from CAEP supplement) who had a job in the past 2 weeks, who spend at least half of work day inside an office building, with least 5 people working in the building, and where smoking is either not allowed at work or smoking and non-smoking areas are specified.
