For all persons, SLDAY2WKDEN reports the number of days where the person was absent from school because of a dental condition in the past two weeks.

SLDAY2WKDEN is part of a series of variables used to determine if an illness or injury has caused persons to restrict their usual activities during the two-week reference period. The Dental Health supplement in 1989 included questions about visits to dentists, reasons for not using dental services, use of fluoride products and dental sealants, presence of teeth, and loss of productive time because of dental conditions.
