Description

SHOWALKHAV indicates whether the person has a walk-in shower, that is, a shower where one does not need to step over the side of the tub to get into the shower, in their house or apartment.

SHOWALKHAV was introduced in 1984 as part of the Study on Aging. For related variables, please use the IPUMS NHIS search function and drop-down menus.

Comparability
