Description
For sample persons under age 18, SEIZUREFEV indicates if the child ever had seizures associated with fever. The inquiry did not require that the condition be diagnosed by a doctor or health professional, and a definition of "seizure" was not provided in the survey text or in the Field Representative's Manual , and the term were respondent defined.
The question for SEIZUREFEV was part of a series of questions on child health conditions in the 1988 Supplement on Child Health.
