For sample persons ages 12-21, SDHARMREG reports how much the person thinks people risk harming themselves by using illegal drugs regularly.
This variable is part of the 1992 Youth Risk Behavior supplement. The supplement includes questions about injury risks, physical fights, weapons use, cigarette smoking, chewing tobacco, alcohol and illegal drug use, AIDS/HIV education, diet and nutrition, physical activities, staying away from home, and sexual behaviors.
