Description
For sample persons age 18 and over, SBELTF reports how often the person wore a seatbelt when driving or riding in the front seat of a car.
SBELTF was first asked of adults in the 1991 Supplement which covered general health habits and preventive behaviors, including awareness of injury prevention. The data were gathered partly to monitor the "Year 2000 Objectives of the Nation." Universe
- 1991: Sample persons age 18+.
- 1993: Half of sample persons age 18+ in quarters 3 and 4 (excluded from AIDS supplement).
