Description

For all households, SASCRESP reports if the sample adult was the respondent for the sample child. The sample child does not directly answer the interview questions. Instead, an adult knowledgeable and responsible for the health of the child responds on behalf of the sample child. This adult may or may not be the sample adult from same the household as the sample child.

With the 2019 redesign, there is no longer a sampling weight to produce household population estimates. See the user note on the calculation and use of sampling weights for additional information.
