Description

For all persons, RADENTIM records the total number of days in the past two weeks that a person cut back on her or his normal activities for at least half a day because of a dental problem or visit.

RADENTIM was introduced in 1989 as part of a series of variables used to determine whether an illness or injury has caused persons to restrict their usual activities during the two-week reference period. For related variables and more information about the Dental Health Supplement please use the search function and IPUMS NHIS drop-down menus, or see DENCOND.
