Description
For female persons aged 18 to 49 who gave live birth in the past five years, QT7DAYSPS reports if the person quit smoking for at least seven days during their last pregnancy.

Comparability
Changes in the universe across survey years limit the comparability of this variable.
In 1991, this question was asked of females aged 18 to 49 who gave live birth in the past five years and who smoked at any time during the last pregnancy. In 1998, this question was asked of females aged 18 to 49 who had a live birth within the past 5 years, smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their entire lifetime, were smoking when they became pregnant, and smoked at some time during their pregnancy.
Universe
- 1991: Female persons ages 18 to 49 who gave live birth in the past five years who smoked at any time during the last pregnancy.
- 1998: Female persons ages 18 to 49 who had a live birth within the past 5 years, smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their entire lifetime, were smoking when they became pregnant, and smoked at some time during their pregnancy.
