Description

For sample female adults who have ever taken estrogen and progestin AND who were ages 18-39, not pregnant, and had a menstrual period in the past three months that was less regular or lighter than a year ago OR who were ages 40-49 and not pregnant OR who were ages 50 and older, PROGESTP reports the time period (e.g., days, weeks, months, or years) for which the respondent reported taking progestin. This variable should be used in conjunction with PROGESNO, which reports the corresponding number of time units.
