Description

For sample persons age 40 and over, PROCEXAMEVR reports if he or she has ever had a proctoscopic exam. It is a recoded variable. Unlike in related variable PROCEXAMEV, individuals who responded that they had never heard of a proctoscopic exam were recoded as having never had a proctoscopic exam and individuals for whom it is unknown if they had heard of a proctoscopic exam were recoded as don't know if they have had a proctoscopic exam.
