Description
For persons who reported at least one foot problem during the past 12 months, who still have the problem, and who considered getting, but did not actually get medical care for their foot problem during the past 12 months, PODTRNOHOURS indicates whether the person reported "office/hours not convenient" as a reason for not seeking treatment for his or her foot problem.
PODTRNOHOURS was introduced in 1990 as part of the NHIS Podiatry Supplement. The purpose of this supplement is to obtain current data concerning problems with the feet, access to foot care, and the amount, frequency, and type of foot care obtained. Universe
- 1990: Persons with at least one reported foot problem during the past 12 months who still have the problem, who considered getting professional care for the problem, but did not get medical care for the foot problems in the past 12 months.
