For persons with at least three reported foot problems during the past 12 months, PODPROB3 indicates the nature of the person's third reported foot problem.
PODPROB3 is part of the NHIS Podiatry Supplement, introduced in 1990. The purpose of this supplement is to obtain current data concerning problems with the feet, access to foot care, and the amount, frequency, and type of foot care obtained.
