For all persons, PODCSPUR indicates whether the respondent reported that anyone in the family had had a bone spur problem during the past 12 months.

PODCSPUR is part of the NHIS Podiatry Supplement, introduced in 1990. The purpose of this supplement is to obtain current data concerning problems with the feet, access to foot care, and the amount, frequency, and type of foot care obtained.
