Description

For persons who reported having any foot problem other than an ingrown toenail, a foot infection, corns or calluses, flat feet or fallen arches, clubfoot, deformities of the toe or joint, bunions, an injury, or arthritis of the toes during the past 12 months, PODCOFOOTST indicates whether the person still has the other foot problem, whether the problem has gone away, or whether the status of the problem is unknown.

PODCOFOOTST is part of the NHIS Podiatry Supplement, introduced in 1990. The purpose of this supplement is to obtain current data concerning problems with the feet, access to foot care, and the amount, frequency, and type of foot care obtained.
