Description

For persons who reported having a foot infection during the past 12 months, PODCINFECST indicates whether the person still has the foot infection, including athlete's foot, other fungal infections, and warts, whether the problem has gone away, or whether the status of the problem is unknown.

PODCINFECST is part of the NHIS Podiatry Supplement, introduced in 1990. The purpose of this supplement is to obtain current data concerning problems with the feet, access to foot care, and the amount, frequency, and type of foot care obtained.
