For sample adults age 18+, PHOBIAEV reports responses to the question, "Have you ever been told by a doctor or other health professional that you had ... Phobia or fears?"

Respondents with an affirmative answer in PHOBIAEV were asked a follow-up question about whether they had phobia or fears during the past 12 months (PHOBIAYR). PHOBIAYR (Had phobia or fears, past 12 months) is also available for sample children age 4 to 17 in 2007.
