PAR1AGE is a 2-digit variable. Cases that are not in universe (NIU) are coded as 00.

Description

For sample children with at least one residential parent, PAR1AGE indicates the age of that parent. This variable is both top- and bottom-coded. The age of a second residential parent is indicated by PAR2AGE.
