Description

For half of female sample persons ages 18 and older, PAPOFTTP reports the time units in weeks, months, or years for how often the respondent believes a woman should have a Pap smear test. PAPOFTTP gives only the type of time unit the respondent used to answer the question, and should be used with related variable PAPOFTNO, which gives the corresponding number of units. Persons could also respond in a non-time unit specific response, such as "only when problems or symptoms occur"; these response categories are also included in PAPOFTTP. Please see Codes tab for detailed response categories.
