Description
For sample adults aged 18 and over and children ages 4-17 who reported having at least one top complementary or alternative medicine (CAM) therapy and did not tell their personal health care provider about using the therapy, NTDISC1 reports if the respondent didn't tell his or her health care provider about use of the first top CAM therapy because the provider discouraged use of the therapy in the past. NTDISC1 can be paired with CAMTHER1, which reports the corresponding CAM therapy that the person did not tell her/his personal health care provider about.
