Description

For sample persons aged 18 and over who needed medical care or advice in the past 12 months but did not get care, NOTCARHOURS reports if the reason the person did not receive care is that the hours were not convenient.

Comparability

Changes in survey design (e.g., quarters in which the supplement was collected) may affect raw frequencies, but do not affect comparability of the variable. As always, data users should use the prescribed IHIS weights.
